General FAQs

Treatments are not suitable if you were under the age of 18 years, or had a known allergy or sensitivity to particular products or their ingredients, including local anaesthetics. We also would not recommend treatments for pregnant or breast-feeding women, or for those with skin infections near the areas requiring injection.

The length and number of treatments will depend on what you decide with your skin therapist or practitioner during your consultation. Upon your first visit, we will chat with you to put together a customised plan that will address your skin needs and get you the results you want.

We believe creating a friendly, informal and happy environment is one of the key elements in making our patients feel at ease here at Younique Aesthetics Clinic. However, the most important part of your decision in selecting the right clinic for you may be your relationship with our team and specifically our facial aesthetics practitioners. Our practitioners, Aine and Emma have nearly 30 years combined experience in facial aesthetics. They have used a wide variety of products over the years, achieving markable results with thousands of patients.

Practitioners need training in a variety of areas to give injectable cosmetic treatments. These include how to deal with a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) and other adverse reactions to treatment. At Younique Aesthetics Clinic our nurses are fully trained with advanced life support, which is updated regularly.

We believe our patients shouldn’t feel pressured into treatments. Therefore we offer a free aesthetic consultation so our patients don’t feel obliged to take a treatment to reclaim the money they’ve already invested when making an initial visit. Within the consultation we offer a comprehensive skin assessment, honest feedback and advice about general skincare and hygiene.
