Using a small, very fine needle, the serum is injected onto the affected area. The serum works by binding itself to the nerve endings in the region, interfering with signaling to the muscles, thereby softening the appearance of superficial lines and wrinkles. The skin surrounding this area becomes smooth and youthful in appearance within approximately 3 to 14 days.

Procredure time is 30 minutes and requires a local anaesthetic.
