Forehead Fillers
The forehead is one of the first places to age in the face and often a primary concern for our patients. Contraction of muscles in the forehead causes wrinkling of the skin, volume loss causes concavities, and the effects of gravity of the forehead lead to the descent of the brows and eyelids. Dermal filler contains naturally occurring hyaluronic acid and works to slow down the breaking down process of this in your skin.
The procedure is fast and simple and usually has relatively no down time. Using a small, very fine needle, the serum is injected onto the affected area. The serum works by filling the space of volume loss which improves folds and wrinkles. It also has a biological effect on your own hyaluronic acid by encouraging it to increase collagen and elastin production. Overall, this restores a natural and youthful appearance.
Procedure time is around 30 minutes and requires a local anaesthetic.
There's little or no downtime. You should notice immediate results after treatment, followed by temporary swelling for 2-3 days. Final results should be fully settled within 14 days.
Forehead fillers are expected to last around 6-12 months.
Facial softening treatments have been tried and tested in millions of treatments globally. They are a safe and effective treatment for healthy looking skin.
Not suitable if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active infection near the forehead. Have auto-immune diseases, hypersensitivity/allergy to hyaluronic acid.
Temporal Hollow Fillers
Hollow and sunken temples can commonly develop as we get older. Fat and other subcutaneous tissue are lost from the temple areas leaving us with what is known as hollow temples which can also lead to bone loss. This creates a wasted and unhealthy look on the face. The goal in treating temporal hollows is to provide a balanced silhouette with a smoother transition to the hairline, giving you a more youthful look.
Dermal filler can be injected to restore youthful smooth contours to the temple area, replacing volume that has been lost through the ageing process and creating an overall softer and more balanced facial appearance.
Procedure time is around 30 minutes and requires a local anaesthetic.
After your temple dermal filler treatment, the effects will be immediately obvious. If you have any swelling, this will resolve within 2-3 days of your temple filler treatment.
Temporal hollow treatments are expected to last around 12-18 months.
Volume loss in the temples particularly affects slimmer people who naturally have less volume, to begin with.
Not suitable if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active infection near the forehead. Have auto-immune diseases, hypersensitivity/allergy to hyaluronic acid.
Tear Trough Fillers
A tear trough is a deep crease between the lower eyelid and upper cheek. It can cast a shadow below your eyes, resulting in a tired appearance. If you’re looking for a non-surgical solution that can rejuvenate your sunken eyes and give you a fresher, more youthful, and healthier appearance then tear trough fillers are the answer.
Tear trough filler is an injectable treatment that’s used under the eyes. Its purpose is to add volume beneath the eyelids. The product most often used in this area is one typically made of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a gel-like substance that naturally exists in your body. When injected into the skin, hyaluronic acid increases fullness and decreases indentations making the skin look fuller and tighter.
Our medical practitioners will use a local anaesthetic to make sure you feel as little pain or discomfort as possible, meaning you likely won't feel anything.
Avoid intense activity for 24 to 48 hours after treatment. Apply ice during the first 48 hours. Avoid sleeping face down. Use your fingers to gently massage the area.
Tear trough procedures usually last 6-18 months.
You will notice a difference straight after the treatment. It will take a few days for the side effects to subside, after which you will start to see an even bigger improvement.
Relatively safe. Less invasive than tear trough surgeries.
Not suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Have auto-immune diseases or hypersensitivity/allergy to hyaluronic acid.
Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
Also known as liquid rhinoplasty, this dermal filler procedure changes the shape of your nose for more than 6 months. Ideal for patients who are looking to smooth out bumps in their nose or make it look less angular but who are not ready for a permanent solution or are worried about the risks and recovery time involved in a traditional rhinoplasty. A Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty can modify the shape of the bridge, tip, and side of your nose depending on your preference.
Hyaluronic acid is inserted underneath your skin in the areas where you wish to create smoother lines or volume. The hyaluronic acid settles into the deeper skin and holds its shape. Between injections, our medical practitioner will massage the nose, manipulating the filler until the desired shape is achieved. This can change the look of your nose for anywhere from 6 months up to a year, depending on your skin and desired results.
Treatment takes less than 15 minutes, with an additional 20 minutes for the numbing cream or anaesthetic to take effect.
No downtime. You’ll be able to go about your day as usual straight after the nose filler treatment.
Each individual will metabolise filler at a different rate, but when hyaluronic acid-based fillers are used, liquid rhinoplasty results typically last for 6-18 months.
Avoid wearing glasses and having facials or other skin treatments for 1-2 weeks after the procedure. They can interfere with the filler before it’s fully set.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a medium risk treatment.
Not suitable if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active infection near the nose. Have auto-immune diseases or hypersensitivity/allergy to hyaluronic acid.
Nasolabial Folds
Nasolabial folds are the indentation lines on either side of the mouth that extends from the edge of the nose to the mouth's outer corners. Fat is lost from the cheeks, reducing skin volume and making this fold appear deeper. This becomes prominent when you smile and while they are extremely common, their severity can vary. The goal of nasolabial fold treatment is to even out the skin volume, leaving you with a smoother, refreshed-looking appearance. Dermal fillers are often the first step toward reducing nasolabial folds.
Our medical practitioner will inject hyaluronic acid into the skin into the nasolabial fold or the upper cheek which will add volume to the area and lift the skin. They work by “plumping” the area of skin so that fine lines and deep wrinkles appear smoother. Dermal Fillers cannot make the nasolabial folds disappear, but they will make them less pronounced while creating fuller and more youthful skin.
Nasolabial procedures usually take around 30 minutes.
Mild pain, but a local anaesthetic will be applied prior to treatment.
Nasolabial treatments are expected to last around 6-12 months.
The most common problems which occur with treatment are bruising and swelling. The bruising can be noticeable. The swelling, because it is in a fold, is usually less obvious.
The satisfaction rate is very high, especially when volume loss is also treated. The filler also stimulates the patient’s own collagen in the area of injection over time which means that the result may even be improved after the filler has dissolved. This is very commonly seen in the nasolabial fold area.
Not suitable if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active infection near the nose or mouth. Have auto-immune diseases or hypersensitivity/allergy to hyaluronic acid.
Lip Enhancements
As you age your lips become thinner and less defined due to your body producing less protein collagen. Lip augmentation can increase the fullness and enhance the definition of your lips to create a more desirable and youthful appearance and defined smile. It can also help turn the corners of the mouth upwards. Lip augmentation is a non-surgical procedure that is performed under local anesthetic. This procedure can be tailored to your needs providing a natural or fuller look.
Initially, the lips are numbed via topical anaesthetic. Small amounts of dermal filler will be administered to increase the volume and size of the lips. The hyaluronic acid-based filler will work by plumping but also holding water within the lip for a more natural effect and diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Lip enhancement procedures take around 30 minutes.
Once numb, you’ll feel a little prick, slight pressure, and a dull kind of throbbing, but it shouldn’t be too intensely painful after application of the local anaesthetic.
Immediately after a procedure, you can expect injection-site redness, swelling, pain, and tenderness, which may last around 24 hours. Swelling can be reduced with the application of an ice pack. If this doesn’t settle down, you should contact one of our medical practitioners.
Results are expected to last around 6-12 months.
Not suitable if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active infection near the mouth. Have auto-immune diseases or hypersensitivity/allergy to hyaluronic acid.
Jawline Contouring
Pre-jowl sulcus, or that little bit of sagging or pooching in the jawline, is an obvious indicator of aging. As we get older, the fat pads throughout our face start to dissipate and separate from each other. This separation and the result of gravity create heaviness in the lower face, often along the jawline. Depending on the severity of the jowling, different treatment options may be available. Dermal fillers along the jawline can help to tether and stretch the jowling to make it less prominent.
When strategically injected along the lower jaw, jaw fillers create a more defined separation between the jawline and neck. Dermal fillers work to enhance the structure and add volume under the skin. High-density dermal filler can be injected to create a defined and sharpened jawline.
Procedures usually take around 30 minutes.
You may feel a small amount of pain or discomfort at the injection sites once the local anaesthetic wears off. This shouldn’t last for more than 1 day.
A small amount of bruising and swelling are the most common side effects.
Individual results vary, but for many users, hyaluronic acid filler may last as long as 2 years.
Not suitable if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active infection near the mouth. Have auto-immune diseases or hypersensitivity/allergy to hyaluronic acid.
Chin Modelling
The projection of the chin should create a straight line with the top lip and bottom lip when viewed in profile. Most often, hyaluronic acid fillers are used to achieve these proportions whether we are looking to lengthen or project the chin. A chin that recedes, or simply does not protrude as much as other features, can unbalance the face.
Non-Surgical Chin Enhancement is a safe, non-invasive alternative to traditional chin enhancement. The procedure involves injecting dermal filler into precise areas of the chin in order to increase the length, width or projection of the chin. Dermal filler can replace this structural support and change the contours of your chin. Using dermal fillers, we can make your chin appear more prominent or increase its definition. While many of our female patients want to have a softer contoured chin, our male patients like to have a more chiselled chin.
Procedures usually take around 30 minutes.
Every chin filler treatment will be different depending on what new contour and shape you're trying to achieve. For some, it may feel painful and for others, it will just be uncomfortable. A local anaesthetic will be applied to minimise pain.
Chin filler can last anywhere from 1 - 2 years depending on what type of filler was used, how fast your metabolism is, and the depth of the filler placement.
Risks are very low, but as with any filler there is a small risk of swelling and bruising for a few days afterward, tiny risk of lumpiness.
The best candidates for chin augmentation are clients: those with a recessed chin (usually referred to as a “weak” chin) or poor definition in the neck.
Not suitable if you're pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active infection near the mouth. Have auto-immune diseases or hypersensitivity/allergy to hyaluronic acid.
