What is micro-needling treatment?
Micro Needling involves administering a series of fine, sharp needles into the skin following the administration of a topical local anesthetic. This is done systematically and rapidly through the use of a DermaRoller or DermaPen. This “damage” to the dermis encourages the body to produce more new collagen and elastin, which generate new skin cells to literally “repair” itself. Micro needling can help you to reduce the appearance of stretch marks along with other imperfections.
What else can micro-needling help with?
Reduces the Appearance of Stretch Marks: Stretch marks are extremely difficult to treat and very few cosmetic treatments can improve their appearance. Micro-needling, however, has been shown to improve the appearance of stretch marks, especially when combined with other treatments such as fraxel and other laser treatments.
